The Research Agent finds out what is actually being said about a subject and reports it with evidence. Give it one or more URLs and it reads each page and reports what it says. Give it a subject or a goal and it works out two or three distinct search angles, reads what ranks, follows up on the most substantial source, and synthesises the findings by theme rather than by page. Every report comes back in the same shape: what it looked for, the findings with an inline source for every non-obvious claim, the three to five things that stood out, the gaps it could not close, and the full list of sources it read. It quotes real figures, names and dates, says plainly when sources disagree, and never pads thin results with general knowledge. Use it upstream of the Executive Briefer, the Professional Report Generator, or any writing worker that needs grounded material.
